Hey all! I have a value over like 100 years, and I want to get the minimum value for each single year in my pandas DF. Do you know how I can do this? The df is like: years from 1900-2020, and the value = total damage in USD... Thank you!

I tried: new = df[['Year', 'Total_Damages_Adjusted']].copy()



new.groupby(['Year', 'Total_Damages_Adjusted']).min()


But this doesn`t give me the minimal total damage per each single year..
