I'd say using an preexisting AR framework on your platform will be a generally better option than doing it yourself from scratch unless you have extremely specific and unusual requirements

@RaghavSood i am thinking of using tensorflow for live object detection ( wall detection) and then creating a overlay to color the wall. Found out that it is hard to detect white walls with ar core as there are less features to detect white walls.

detecting walls with some pattern is easier as the ar framework is able to extract feature points.

But i will have more clarity on this when i discuss with my architect.

I have a card view that contains two textViews with almost similar characteristics, right now, I have defined them in the XML like both written from the scratch, should I make a common layout file that holds this TextView and I <include> that in the cardView? Beside not having to repeat same XML lines, is there any performance benefit?

I am using Android Studio 3.2.1 and I want to profile a pre-built APK with, but "Debug or Profile" option is not visible in my file menu and anywhere else! Is it a plugin that should be installed separately?
