although in this case the exchange word wasn't in the post, only in the profile (I guess they're wary of spam filters)

Seems like all the "answers" have already happened in the comments (basically: yeah, you're never really going to stop a determined hacker with userland code). It might be rewritten as "can ...sameFile() be spoofed?", but that's still pretty broad. No strong feelings either way.
