I got the question about polymorphism in PHP. In other language I can use the code below.

Base base;

base = new Derived1();
base.doSomething();

base= new Derived2();
base.doSomething();

to archieve polymorphism. But since the PHP does not allow type to be explict , I cannot use the statement above.

so I was wondering if there is any way to archieve polymorphism rather than

base.doSomething();
}

php doesn't have variable type declaration, and it's not limiting polymorphism in any way (in fact it's the opposite, you can store anything in a variable regardless of type), as you can simply do
$base = new Derived1();
$base->doSomething();
$base = new Derived2();
$base->doSomething();

if you want to check invariants you can do assert($base instanceof Base); but it's usually not needed

If you wait until the end of your LTS, you have zero grace period left. If everyone does that, you'd get an extended support period or something. And then you'd get people taking that for granted, etc.

so I think there's some sort of issue with waiting for the extreme end of your LTS

Now find out (google) what those things are, especially how they look in visio. Then draw one of those entity shapes. and then connect them with your foreign key.
