Hi all, recently I recently voted to close a question on review queue

The question was

I don't see any research effort on that question, a simple google search can provide the solution

So I voted to close that, but It was actually a review audit and it said my decision was wrong

most of the comments talk about how the class is deprecated, so my first thought is "this question appears off-topic because it deals with business decisions by the project creator"

Personally, with how high this is voted, i'm not sure how to act on this post

IMO, I'd say it's a valid Q. But probably best to ask on Meta.

Just because something can answered by googling, it doesn't mean the Q should be closed.

@Sam: Will ask on meta. In older days there was a close reason "Not constructive - It won't show any research effect" like so.

I believe the reason that's not around anymore is because lack of research should not be a reason to close a question (but is for downvoting)
