@flawr Mine (Peavey Studio Pro 112) has three volume knobs too. It has a clean channel with a single volume (how loud the sound actually is), and a "lead" (dirty) channel with "pre-gain" (preamp gain, possibly overdrive) and "post-gain" (loudness). The one you saw is probably similar: "volume" for clean channel, and "overdrive" and "master" for dirty channel

If that's the case, it should have a flick switch labelled "clean/lead" or similar to select the channel
