I never really thought about how weird MATLAB’s naming of methods is. In some languages they are called “methods”, in others “member functions” and referred to as “functions”. In MATLAB they have always been just functions — you override a function for a specific class. But then classdef classes introduced the methods keyword. The methods section contains function definitions… Isn’t that just weird??? Or is it me?
