@Feeds Gotta love it when things like this are buried within the release notes: Compatibility Considerations Some assignment statements that used to throw an error now execute. If your code relied on the errors that MATLAB threw for those conversions, such as within a try/catch block, then your code might no longer catch those errors.

I'm rather flabbergasted by this answer. Whether it works or not I am not sure, but they hardcoded the answers in fprintf() statements, wrapped those in a for loop, which contains 29 sequential if statements?!?

Sum I can understand. Cache optimisation and vectorised CPU instructions etc.

@LuisMendo I'm always so impressed by the soundscapes they manage to create (the two guitarists in particular), most of the time it is nothing complicated. In much of todays music it seems the guitar alternates between playing chords as an accompanying instrument or playing the main melody, and here it feel like they have found a role that is different from this. (I mean I love their music in general, and they play so well together. :)

That intermediate part reminded me of some similar crazy passages by Sonic Youth, like the last 2 minutes of Tuff gnarl. These guys redefined the role of guitars in rock music, as I see it

I also dislike the distinction between "rythm" and "lead" guitar. It's too narrowing. Music gets more interesting outside of that restraint
