So what's the point of asking if there are people ready to pounce and mark as dupe or downvote it to oblivion

I haven't posted a question/answer on any site in a long time, but it always felt like some of the mods were overzealous with things like that.

I think you have to write it in front of them w/ no phone or other electronic devices... in those old essay mini-notebooks they'd give you in college

Partially it's because I write communications for a company and that can always sound a little uh... corporate. But lots of people specifically write to avoid "sounding like" AI even in casual community conversations. Coworkers, including the VP of Community, have been accused of writing posts with AI, when that's definitely not what happened lol

And even then they'd want to check your ears for a device
