you just need to cast it everytime you want to access it.

so I presented another approach to my team earlier.
the current scenario is, we have web app that sits on top of a `WebView` (in-app mobile browser). A run-once event where it requires input from user and returns a URL based on that input. This URL will be displayed with every app launch until the user clears the app cache then it will repeat the process.
They are looking for a cheap and secure way to manually trigger a cache clear and the accepted solution is to have a cache expiry.
A new idea pops in my head: instead of using the "native" space for storing cache, we could use the `localSt…

problem is it is vulnerable to XSS attack or script injection. I offered a solution to encrypt the values every store/load and optionally using a rotational keys. So the keys will reside in the "native space" and storage used will be from webapp space if that make sense. Another security risks is reverse engineering the app to breach the native space, so I offered a solution with storing the key in .so file (dynamic link library equivalent for Windows OS).

long story short, it is not approved due to XSS risk. If I were the CTO and we hire a new dev that offers such risky solution, I would do the same. I'm just wondering if these proposal could push through if I am just a good communicator.

which they entirely likely would have pulled at any time

And I was also trying to find a way out for a while so there was no point putting anything in it

But now I've got my new Workspace VS ent sub which isn't going anywhere

Don't tell anyone but...the VS Ent Sub I got by my previous employer is of course removed from my account, but for some reason the Azure free credits remain. 130€ every month that I'm afraid to use but also there's still shit in there running because I didn't clean it up before going lol.

Yes, you can attach them to any microsoft account

So now my personal microsoft account gets 130€ monthly credits to burn

1, disconnect botler from SO and Datcord, make it run on it's own
2, connect SO and Datcord as clients to the botler service
3, create a unified model for the messages from all clients
4, create formatters for all clients to display the messages fully featured
5, allow messages to be edited
6, allow messages to be deleted
7, add bot orchestration, forwarding commands that botler cannot do to another bot that can
8, realize Wietbot already does all the above
