Actually, I think I figured it out but would like some input on my fix. I changed the parent model to take Dynamic list instead of a list of a different model. This allowed me to set the variable name in my calling method.

I have a dev database and i'm adding some new fields to a few tables. DBA's will be refreshing that DB from production (which doesn't have the field). that will get rid of the fields wont it?

OR ask your DBA's to do so for you

IMO, if your DBA's are refreshing the DB from production, they should also be doing that for you

Or, depending on the involvement of the DBAs, have them handle it as Captain said.

well I had a method that did a simple boolean check. meaning if true... continue. but that is not how it works. I actually had a to put a ! operator in front of my method name.

so now my method name does not make sense. Meaning if my time has been exceeded.. contineu. but that is not how contineu works.
