Good morning. What's new north and south of there?

well, after a loooong and weird winter, last couple of days weather here was HOT! 37-38 o C. Now it's again cloudy and it will possibly rain! I think we can confidently say that we really f***ed this planet :/

I am on your side on that post, it should be part of Q as it is a workaround, "look I tried this but can you suggest a better?" type.

re the dice quote, i usually hear that invoked as an example of how even einstein got stuff wrong (re quantum mechanics)

@Frank I'm not sure it's him getting stuff wrong, but more an exclamation of how strange quantum mechanics really is. Remember that he came up with the photoelectric effect, which is quantum mechanics.

Yyes, he contributed to quantum theory, but also he was quite critical of quantum mechanics.

@camille - we have a pretty good system really - voting is compulsory and we get >90% turnout. I think a lot of the local schools do some good fundraising today outside polling booths.
