Well, I'll merge it with the next topic (and nearly only) then: I've noticed a few relentless help vampires in the room, which keep returning over and over.
This is going to sound downright cruel, but can't we let the bot auto-kick (effectively ban) for a set period of time for the worst cases (e.g. postpone access for 1 day and each re-enty the bot gives a message about the why)? That might be enough incentive to fix stupidity.
We need a talking point in the meetings that says read prev meeting notes... maybe a collection of them so we don't keep eating time with the same topics
Canonical idea: Write a canonical question and answer about promisifying XHR for a 500 bounty from me. Ping me for details. (Preference to folks under 10k)
We talked about it a bit before (the first part): If we seem to be lacking in certain timezones or people are already pseudo doing it, why not promote them?
Late but: I feel like the JS chat has vastly improved in quality these past few weeks. Barely any drama, no spam, no aggressive anti-vamping. All in all, a good room.
