Q: how to get ip address from onion url using python

I am trying to get ip address from darknet onion url. import subprocess import ipaddress for ip in ipaddress.IPv4Network('5.0.0.0/24'): subprocess.call(["tor-resolve", "-x", ip]) I am not getting correct thing, this is error also. who is there for helping me?

get an ip address from an onion url? isn't that supposed to be prohibitively difficult?

i don't think so man.. I don't see how it can be done. the best you can do is get the IP of an exit node

unless you have access to racks of computers with software to monitor entry and exit nodes and a way to analyze all the connections

No, i think that can get onion ip address from onion url with torsocks or tor-resolve.

so you just want to use that API to get whatever IP it gives you right?

have you tried that script with a tor url?
