I don't think it would be appropriate to ask this question on SO, so I am trying my luck here instead.

Now, I created my own node app with frontend and backend. Would it be possible to host the client (the static files) on github and the server (backend files) on Heroku? And then somehow have my static github page make requests to my Heroku server side code.
