@LinkBerest thanks you removed python as a dependency. I was trying to execute this python script with the help of github.com/pythonnet/pythonnet. The frontend was made in asp.net.

Sorry, for asking so soon again but I really need some help with python's tempfile. dpaste.com/1QT2VRM . I have tried to explain. It's very difficult to provide MVCE for problems which use files at my system.

That's been improved somewhat after writing it, but in the end some "injection" will always be intentional, like table names – if not using psycopg2, which can handle those safely.

That's what I ended up doing as well, when learning Ecto in Elixir. On the other hand, forming queries in SQLA is usually a no-brainer due to familiarity.

It's more about whether you want to have the discussion take place in the main python chatroom where other people might be talking about different things. Some considerations are that prolonged discussions about the same specific technical problem here can become a burden, and we prefer not to discuss fresh questions here (but this latter thing doesn't necessarily apply to you, because your question is closed).

There is an automatic mechanism that offers you to start a new dedicated chatroom if a comment thread gets too long, so yeah, the system is happy if you create a new room to discuss a specific post in length. When I do that manually I post the question's link at the beginning of the chatroom's life so that people can find context. And of course drop a link on the question as well, as you did with this room.

@python_learner Don't count on your resume being read by flask experts in the first place. Doing a file browser sounds like a perfectly reasonable choice that is a) doable and educational for you, and b) impressive to muggles.

@Kwsswart The refactoring has taken a lot longer than I would like. I've completely revamped the front-end (not live) but this page roughly correlates to these routes and these templates

I ended up spending an inordinate amount of time trying to fix the frontend (which is that code) and making it work better with mobile. Hopefully it'll pay off, it's just set me back on my plans a lot :/

@Daniil As in python3 -m timeit -s 'n = 1' 'n += 1'? Or without n actually increasing?

Note that timeit turns off the GC, which may have a significant contribution in assignments.

@python_learner trivial not trivial, what matters when I interview is correct code (well formatted, follows PEP, comments and self-descriptive names, good following with DRY, SOLID, or other coding guidances)

If your public code meets above I tend to assign it higher priority

Do you think Google does store URLs with query strings? Or it stores query strings in a related table with a foreign key or a pivot table?
