The main thing is that routes have a reference to their model and view
where model is a thin wrapper around the database
and view is simply a set of data transformation functions
that transfer data in database format into data for render friendly formats

I totally meant to get with you weekend past and see where you were on the codebase. Instead I got a new laptop hard drive and started fixing two computers
However, now I have a (hopefully) much better computer to do dev work on.

it's interesting that although backbone seems to be much more popular than knockout, I would say knockout has much more examples and better docs

Ehm debug webgl basically
webgl wont work on my ubuntu
I presume its my graphics drivers or lack of it
so I have to develop the webgl front end in windows
and the node end in linux
Anyway, I still have work to finish on my blog >_<
