@E_net4thecommentflagger Not sure, question title have all the clues even with the correct keywords: How do I declare a type as "one of an enum variant or a None?"
It's hard to understand what the blocker was. It's as if they had a clue that there was an Option type, but didn't know how to combine it with other types.
Section 6.1 from the book does show at least one example.
