Hi good folks. I have written a small application in Python. You can consider it as a GUI that displays some diagnostics when its run. I need to know how do I package it so that its install-able via pip and that anyone who wants to use it, just installs it via pip and the app is available from cli by just calling its name like $ sandwitch which would run the GUI until its stopped. I cant seem to find a standard way to package.
And moreover I am not getting any confirmation if my package would run from the cli. I understand packages installed via pip are imported. I needed to know the internals of how it works so that I can figure out myself if my script would run just by calling it and not importing it.
