I have a tendency to shift my day which is not a big problem unless you went to bed at 4 and need to wake-up at 6 due to work-appointments ...So I try to keep the same rythm in the weekend...failed today...

How much longer do you have to study what?

My exams are in Jan/June next year, I can if I want, study for an extra year though (one of the benefits of teaching myself ;)). I'm doing IGCSE core subjects (math, eng, etc) business and, of course ITC.

I code in my spare time as well. Creating open source projects and the like.

Nope, definitely not. Didn't know ITC even existed.

@Sam No, I didn't do uni, I did study on the Hes and have a bachelor in Business Informatics.

But that was a long time ago...

How'd you get into programming then?

It got my interest already (I'm taking 1980's here), got a homecomputer and on school I took extra classes for informatics.

After that I went to the HES where we had this fullprogramme to study busines economics with extra clases for the ICT. It was back then one of the thoughest studies.

I personally like DSP (audio) more than most other fields. Hance, I'm working on a virtual surround sound app (it mimics dolby headphone but without all the hardware).

Yeah, it can be, sometimes it gets a little too complicated though. I.e, All the mathematics behind filters, etc.

I admit that it is beyond my knowledge and expertise.

Well I just know the most basic principles, I don't plan on creating the next super efficient filter. I only learn what's necessary to "make things work", similar to how I study (saves quite a lot of time researching trivial bits of info, when I only need to know the solid principles behind whatever subject I'm learning - of course I'll expand upon and reinforce those principles).
