what is it

initially i view 10 image in gridview .next activity set this in checkbox if checkbox is true the previous activity gridview show only that selectd item
and when user come back means show that selected item only

cache that check box (only the selected one) then in your gridview activity just loop the cached checkbox values

maybe hashmap or array of classes

i prefer not to make a NEW object of the adapter just replace the list with the updated list then call notifydatasetchange

you already have your adapter in onCreate right just reuse it

@Kerppag i try to many way but cant get .so i give demo plz.

i dont have eclipse adt. i assume the ImageAdapter is your custom adapter then it should have a setter and getter of the arraylist/list values
