Don't you just love it when you go to rename your root git repo directory and end up losing all your day's work :|

I had to change my root directory name, which then caused git to play up when I went to commit, so I had to end deleting my local repo and just clone.

I once tried to use WebSockets in C#, but it complained that the protocol wasn't implemented or something like that.

That's why I use UDP, when possible.

Rather than messing around with TCP handshakes, etc, etc. I also hear UDP can be 3x faster than TCP.

@ProgramFOX Yeah I know, there's the possibility of data not arriving in the right order (or not at all). One of the unfortunate trade-offs with speed :/

@Sam Yeah, it depends on what you need. If it's important that everything arrives (in a chat client for example), I'd choose TCP. If a single packet of data can be missed, UDP can be used.

@ProgramFOX Indeed. Well, when it comes to sending messages, I suppose order isn't that important. Still, I guess it's not worth the risk.

I wouldn't want to take the risk of undelivered messages when I'd create a chat application :P

Just think of the bug as a feature for adding suspense ;)

If a post has low views and low rating, it automatically gets cleaned up anyway.

It's your choice, but you'll increase the chances of getting a Q ban. Best to just leave it to get naturally deleted as @Unihedron said.

We should all delete our bad answers to improve the overall Q&A quality I agree, but I thought I read up somewhere that too much bad quality contribution (even if deleted) might get you banned.

I know that definitely applies to questions; I'm not sure anymore about answers.
