@cigien: Sure is wrong. I believe it was right for ANSI C but it's wrong as of C'99 if not earlier.

You can't actually have an unsigned int with a bad value that would be a valid if it were the same bits as a signed int anymore.

When they defined the overflow semantics for unsigned int that left no wiggle room left in the spec.

Questions like this never cease to amaze me.

Does Java have an equivalent to LINQpad? It's been quite awhile since I've done any serious programming in it, I mostly stick with C#, Python and Angular these days.

I dunno what LINQpad is, but there are online Java REPLs if that's what you're after.

Today in close vote misuse: "How to draw a line in android" has a vote to close as "Needs more focus". I cannot comprehend what possible additional focus such a question could have. Perhaps they would rather it be separated into "How to draw a pixel in Android" and "How to make a layout longer in Android"?

I hope it wasn't me; the numbered keyboard shortcuts in the close vote dialog sometimes trip me up

If an answer is composed of images of code, should I flag as NAA or LQP?

@snakecharmerb have we solved that discussion yet? Both lead to deletion, but LQP (at least used to be) resolved by an edit on the post. I guess LQP would fit better, given that it is an answer, just a very low quality one due to being uncopyable

@mickmackusa it should qualify for the 30 day roomba, now that it's at -1. The point remains: deleting the answer just to trigger the roomba isn't a great strategy, as Shog once said. Better to delete the question outright

@Adriaan I don't have the roomba forecaster on my work computer, so I didn't know. I thought I was told that any dupe-closed question that has an answer will not roomba -- even if the answer(s) is downvoted.

OP Self-deleted this question, but check revision 4: apparently it's a known bug in the system and it'll be fixed in the next release (official statement from the company). Is it OK to undelete this and suggest them to answer their own question?

Could anyone provide feedback on the best course of action for an unusual sequence of events? A user answered an unclear question and then edited the question with data that matched their answer. One user identified the issue with the edit not matching the OP's intent and recommended rejection, but ultimately it was approved.

The question is now in the reopen queue and might get reopened if someone doesn't notice that the edit was actually made by a third party with no feedback from the OP. Should I rollback the edit?

Not sure what's going on here. First, the term "re-open" is clearly wrong (in SO terminology, anyways) - but that's a trivial edit. But is it really a new question? Or just a dupe of the one linked.

@jmoerdyk at any rate they are certainly at their limit now of questions that can be asked. I don't know the specific metrics or if they're even public, but I suspect that account will have to wait 6 months before asking another one, given their current question metrics.

@gre_gor AFAIK, CircuitPython doesn't have hardware specific libraries, you need the hardware that CircuitPython supports.

Is it allowed to request a cv-pls on an exact copy of a previous question that was previously closed but deleted and re-asked?

I can sort of see it two ways. 1) It's a brand new question and it's still just as off-topic as before. But 2) It's kind of asking for the same thing twice and could potentially be user targeting.

(In this case I came across the new post organically and recognized it)
