As I say, not an expert but it does seem similar.

I'd like to ask: I saw a question with two upvotes but I see no basis for it. The question isn't terrible but it's badly formatted, badly explained, has (non-code) typos. The two upvotes were there within three minutes of posting it. Seems a bit fishy. Almost as if related accounts upvoted that. Would this be enough basis to flag for mod review?

@rene The same poster has 6 questions. Only one doesn't have any upvotes. The others have at least two upvotes each (one has three). The posts are also not exceptional in any way - not very interesting (rather mundane problems) and they could all benefit from a bit of editing. So, not bad but don't seem like two upvotes worth. I know this is a bit of a stretch but it makes me suspicious.

@Tomerikoo I know there are legal issues, but morally it doesn't seem right that COPPA prevents minors from going on to an educational site like this one, but then doesn't do anything about targeted advertisements on other services.

It is really just a typo question (didn't pass variable to function call...) and the answer to the more applicable question (how to calculate abs) is already in the question itself (use the built-in function) so it should definitely be closed, deletion might be undone...

@desertnaut We can always undelete it. It just seems reasonable to have a canonical "How to calculate absolute value" in python, and I can't seem to find anything.

Is this worth reopening? It seems to be a canonical; lots of views, and a reasonable number of upvotes. Also the reason it was closed no longer exists.

@cigien To be honest the accepted answer pretty much covers all the ways to do that. Reopening will probably just attract spam and repeated answers...

@Tomerikoo For now. Who knows what features the language may add in the future, or that people may come up with that no one has thought of before. I agree about spam and repeat answers, but we can protect it once it's open.

@cigien I agree. This can also become a canonical for getting abs of a number in general. I will give it an edit and a reopen. I can also see an answer using numpy as a possible new one

So while we are at it... Yes, I know I have asked this a few times already, but I think a have a stronger point now. How is your standing wrt. pure k8s questions, like 1, 2, 3, 4, … My opinion is that they have a better home on DevOps and/or Server Fault. What's yours?

@Tomerikoo Moderators won't clean up similar answers which were posted close together in time (by different users), as those are commonly independent effort and likely were posted without the knowledge that another similar answer had also been posted. We will clean up duplicate/similar answers which were posted much later and which don't add any unique value. To request that to happen, you would need to raise a custom moderator flag and explain, including a link to the older similar answer.

Background: If we have some kind of consensus here (and if Devops goes out of beta), I'd like to open a meta to clarify what is on-topic for k8s and what isn't. For the case of k8s, I think I can make a good distinction on what is and what isn't on-topic for SO. Furthermore, I'd like a new close reason for "belongs to DevOps".

@Turing85 The Unclosed Request Review Script (URRS) (GitHub)(install) changes the display of the message from this to this (the change is an option, on by default). However, looking at this message, it would probably be better if it changed it to this.

Personally, I prefer seeing the titles, of the posts, rather than only a list of short link text. I just like to see what I'm clicking. I also find the titles make it easier to differentiate between the links. However, those are personal preferences.
