@d4rk4ng31 I'm assuming you're asking about this question. Personally, I think it's still too broad/needs focus, as you're asking for multiple things: both 1) a fundamental change in how the list is handled, and 2) adding some values/rejections to the blocklist;

and needs details/clarity, as what you're asking for isn't clear: A) the change you want wrt. how the blocklist is handled isn't specified, other than "democratically", which is quite opaque as to how it would work, or what you're really wanting to see; B) the items you want add are given as a couple of examples, but appear to be intended to be a class of nebulously undefined entries, where it appears you want something between adding individual entrys to changing to using NLP on post titles.

If other people want to reopen it, I'm not going to stand in their way, but it's not on-topic, IMO.

@Scratte It's a good question. I had a flag on this declined with this meta link as the reason, so I've basically stopped flagging clarifying questions for fear they'll be declined.

It would be so much easier for flaggers if users would be assertive in Answers and just start with "This isn't an Answer, but clarifying questions.." on everything that's clarifying questions :D

@DavidBuck Unfortunately English is not my first language and despite the fact that I've used it for a very long time, there are words that forces me to find a translation or a definition. And even if I know the meaning of the word, there's a delay from when I hear it until it registers. I do not have that delay in my native language, which makes the words on their own not matter, since they translate directly into imagination/images.

@Scratte I get that. Also on the radio, the producers can't use visual humour, so the language might have to be a bit more subtle or clever to convey the images to your mind, which might not work even for native speakers who don't share the same cultural backgrounds.

Normally flags on posts in that tag invariably "age away" because the Subject requires an uncommon expertise.

Then, determining if a question is duplicate or generally FAQ #11 "are really bad (low quality magnets)" takes a significant amount of time. I frequently have to consider a given question over 5 minutes to make a decision, that curation effort is a lot to expect from SME's that are simultaneously giving their time and effort trying to answer good questions.

I'd like to do a little experiment. However.. I may get myself auto-review banned during it. If there's any change a moderator will help me out of it, I'll go into the details.

Actually.. I am almost certain that what I intend to do will not trigger any review action at all. I'm almost having to sit on my hands and bite my cheeks and "Do NOT think of an elephant" to hold myself off trying to do it. But.. since someone on meta is saying that they failed an audit doing what I intend to do, I'm divided.. and thinking of the elephant.

Is it connected with adding comments? In some audits, that will get you a failure, in others, when you start typing the comment, you'll get a message telling you it's an audit.

I closed this question as a dupe. It was reopened on the grounds that it was asking about a specific implementation, but then OP accepted an answer that doesn't add anything to answers in the dupe. I want to close this, but I can't vote to close again. How do I go about this?

In situations like this you usually need a voice of a group of experts in that tag. You can ask on Meta so that the community can decide what to do about it.

Usually the outcome is that the question gets deleted

@Dharman One of your edit notes on the answer was rather spiky, so you might have got one from there. I can take a somewhat terse tone on the main site too, but it's worth being particularly careful where someone helps (or tries to).

@cigien I see they themselves found that putting a comment on the post is the only option. If you choose to do so, you can use the same phrasing as the normal auto-comment for a duplicate vote. Perhaps in time others will see it and use it as a hint for closing it.

Is the online-learning tag ambiguous and/or misleading? IMHO, it would more naturally refer to stuff like online leaning sites; but, apparently, it is more often used for questions about the "online-machine-learning" technique. 11 questions in total - I just came across a suggested edit for the tag wiki and was completely befuddled.

Searching for befuddle gives me: "transitive verb To stupefy with alcohol; intoxicate.". You've made it! You don't have to drink beer anymore :)

@AdrianMole I used "needs details or clarity (Unclear)". While the image might be useful in addition to text, having the "code" (actually pseudo-code) as an image make it nigh unto useless for future visitors.

I'd also note that these appear to just be the user's homework assignments, or test questions, (the second worth 11 points), for which the user has not shown an attempt (for the first one posted; the second has something that might qualify as an attempt).

Personally, I'd say that recurrence relation question might be on-topic, depending on the question. A sentence in the tag wiki describes recurrence relations as "they are a part of the field of mathematics known as nonlinear analysis."
