I did the 5th CV on something mentioned here. I am not supposed to "boom". The grave yarding happens automatically?

@Yunnosch The ROs run a script which moves completed requests to the Graveyard. There's also a script, the Unclosed Request Review Script, which provides status on the requests in chat, along with listing the open requests.

IIRC the room doesn't show up for some reason when sorting, only if you actually search for it by name

@Dharman It really has no effect if you don't care that they changed the version. Legally I question whether or not they can, and SE hasn't answered those legal questions. That's my beef.

It makes me wonder what other shenanigans they will pull if they will mess with the sacred license.

Looks like they are hunting for tag badges. As long as the edits are relevant, I'm not seeing any harm in that. pointers is an appropriate tag for that Q. If it is causing a flood of question to get bumped then you could mod flag. I think the message the person asking them to tone it down for the first "offence".

Closing will help blocking new answers for typo error questions. But that question already have an answer. What should be done with this type of posts? That question is not useful for any other user as it is very very rare that someone else will do exactly the same typo and will type similar words in google. Is there any laid down policy to handle this type of questions when that have answer and that answer is accepted and upvoted?

Downvote and hope for deletion I think (I could be wrong)?

As there is already an answer to that question which is upvoted and accepted (of-course; showing the typo), that question will stay forever and will not be useful to anyone and will not be found in search. Is this enough? Is it necessary to delete such post (Q + A)? Or just close and forget as it will not be listed in searches anyway?

The revisits are stored in userscript storage. Unfortunately, there really isn't a good way to make sure that the data isn't being changed in more than one tab at a time. So, there is an ad-hoc locking mechanism, which also has to be given time to propagate to other tabs (which you might be opening at the same time). The userscript managers also change, from time-to-time, the details of how the information is propagated from tab to tab.

Frustratingly, GM doesn't have an event/callback that allows monitoring for changes.

I'll expect to change the script to require user interaction to open the revisits (i.e. you'll get notified that there are revisits to go to, but they won't be opened automatically). Doing that will significantly reduce the locking issue, and also solve the issue that tabs can be opened for revisits where you may not want them.

@WiktorStribiżew Honestly, as it's currently written, I'm much more inclined to close the question as "unclear". There really isn't enough information in the question to understand what the OP is actually wanting to do. In the comments, the OP doesn't clarify their real goal wrt. what the regex is supposed to be doing. The main thing we have to go on is the regex in comments which the OP said worked.

That regex isn't functionally an exact dup of the proposed dup-target. The "works!" regex matches the entire string up to the last number, not just the last number. At least from how I read the question and comments, matching the entire string is what the OP wants, so the duplicate wouldn't have done what I think the OP wants. (Yes, an easy change to the dup-target regex could have solved that, and might be considered a duplicate for that reason, but that would need to be explained to the OP.)

I'd also note that the only real confirmation from the user that there aren't more digits in the string is the "works!" regex. Although, there is another comment that hints at that being the case, but given the OP's imprecision in describing the text, I don't really put a lot of weight on that earlier somewhat off-hand statement.

Overall, my point is that the question is unclear. At an absolute minimum, content that's in comments needs to be rolled into the question, but, personally, I feel the question needs to be clarified by the question OP, which they have effectively refused to do after multiple comments asking for clarification. Unfortunately, people were just making guesses in comments as to what the OP wants and hit on a regex that works for the OP, so we're unlikely to ever get the OP to actually clarify.

@NathanOliver doubt it, the strategy is: if someone try do something legal against us (like me hiring lawyers to contests it) we will just delete all the content of that user. Hence another sign of force. It's kind of sad that the community feeling is fading away

Where? I think they can choose what to publish and not, certainly if you don't agree with licenze the solution is to not publish.. you need Skeet, BalusC and co.. to make a difference.. and Im not sure even them can convince SO to get community orientated again

@NathanOliver I don't recall anything which would legally prevent SE from paywalling. Legally, the user's content is still licenced under CC BY-SA, and additional rights granted to SE, so anyone who paid could copy as much as they wanted and distribute it for free. Thus, from a practical POV, paywalling isn't worthwhile. OTOH, I haven't re-read things specifically looking for this issue, so I could be missing something.
