@treyBake NZ are world number 2; for some arcane reason the leprechauns Irish are world number one. I don't follow rugby closely enough to know who's likely to win though. I'll try to catch a few matches down in the local Irish pub
Yeah, the Ireland - Scotland match is the only match I'd definitely expect Scotland to lose before the quarter final, England I think should be fine before the quarters

Small announcement to make, I'll soon be starting a new job (likely mid-November). However it's in the financial sector, so the workplace rules are likely to be that little bit stricter. As a result it's very unlikely I'll be frequenting here after that time

IIRC no; the "super ping" you speak of is a ping moderators can use to ping other users, not the other way around. Some mods, however, have a tendency to drop in if you mention their name often enough. Anyhow, best way to deal with this is to use a custom flag message.
@Shree Shree, a word of advice: question marks can carry a lot of meaning in English language. A question mark can turn a single word into a proper question. Spanish language even went above and beyond by enclosing the whole sentence with question marks. Even if your English skills are not the best, proper use of punctuation can make your sentences much more understandable.
@Shree any post, just be sure to be clear and descriptive. I usually use one of my own posts, to be sure to avoid any ambiguity about the post owner being possibly involved
You only ever get 1 close vote on a question, unless that vote naturally ages away, then after a cool down period you can recast. (I think it is 4 days after it ages away)
@Shree If the issue is that you want to ping them in a room in which they were active at one point, but can't due to the user not being present in the room, or not posting recently enough (i.e. their username doesn't autocomplete when you type @[user..]), then you can always ping them by creating a reply to any message of theirs in the room. Such replies will actually ping the user, even if the reply is to a years-old chat message.
What should I do about this answer? It fixes the typo in the self-answer by OP. It should probably be a comment or an edit, but the user has 1 rep. Should I flag it as NAA?
Well, the OP of the question is still active (last seen 6 hours ago). So, presumably, they will get a notification that there's a new answer and can either edit their answer or accept the new answer. You could also comment asking the answerer to submit an edit to the question OP's answer.
