@Swordfish For me, that question is asking for an explanation on how pointers work in C. The asker has not indicated what they do, or do not, know about C and pointers. I have done lots with C and I think the code is simple, although the C experts may see some edge cases I have not noticed. There are lots of books and websites explaining C pointers. That suggests the asker has not done their homework before asking the question. I am happy with a CV of too broad, or possibly wanting a tutorial.

@Shree np. It's PR #2541. However, it experienced what appears to be a intermittent/networking error when tested on CircleCI, although it passed Travis-CI. That shouldn't be an issue, but might delay it a bit. We still need on of the people with write access to approve it.
