I keep going back and forth. I start writing my answers and nomination and I think do I really want to do this right now, and more often then not the answer is no. I just don't think I want the extra work right now. I though I did but.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Machavity I disagree; if one edit changes that user's vector going forward because someone tried to salvage an answer, it was worth it. Additionally, if that answer helps out one user ever, it was worth the edit.

I first proposed burnination in April 2017, and I did a mass re-tag when the post reached a score of 100.
For a while, atom was gone, but it resurfaced after a short time, as was discussed in BatteryBackupUnit's post from December 2017.

@AlonEitan That's a bit dubious. I usually consider ODBC strings and drivers programming related, since they're mostly used in the context of programming. But it's a grey area, and it's fine if you disagree.
@ErikvonAsmuth I disagree. Your argumentation would make every question about library installation issues "programming related". Like problems with GPU, disc, etc. drivers. The drivers are used as well by ready-made applications.

I believe it falls under software tools commonly used by programmers; and is a practical, answerable problem that is unique to software development Since non-programmers won't touch the ODBC drivers (but will run into problems with other ones), in my opinion it meets both criteria, and it falls under that.

FireAlarm messages get archived by the archiver script if the FireAlarm message is > 30 minutes old. The intent/expectation is that people will post a cv-pls, if they feel one is warranted.
@Machavity It's difficult to imagine what the bridge looked like before it died. Cable-stayed bridges are well understood. There must be something 'funny' about this one.

It seems that all this moderation stuff is all about wisdom and all. Contributing to the main site doesn't seem to matter. Well, we'll see. I don't regret my decision. I expected some more bashing (I had my share, mind :))
You seemed to have learned a lot from previous election.
I doubt a significant part of the 30k+ voters from last time decided after carefully judging each answer.
The nomination text might just be most important, maybe there's some effect in placing relatively high on the questionnaire, maybe some check the scores, but I really doubt many read that.
@BaummitAugen yup, some read the top answer, upvote it because they agree, read the second, maybe the third, notice that they're essentially all the same, then leave... all other votes are mostly on the user not on the answers.
@Floern that's why I tried not to read other upvoted answers to create my questionnaire. about the votes, yes, as they say in france: "only the Rich are lent to" sth like that.
Tbh, I don't really think citing the license even fits the question all that well. Whether we are allowed to keep the content visible is not really the issue at hand.
Yeah, rep isn't everything. And even if I'm not chosen 1) I'll nominate myself next time 2) I still have moderation powers with the badges & rep, so I'll keep working with my limited means.
if it takes an average of 3 minutes to handle a flag, and each of the 28 mods handle an average of 71 flags a day, that would be about 3.5 hours per mod
I noticed that there are good and bad days. On a bad day, there's not one good question. On good days, a lot of ok questions where I can score 3 votes or more. Depends. Now that I have legendary, that's less a motivation to get 200 a day.
