@Dsafds chat profiles aren't really tied to main profiles. chat.stackoverflow.com/users/5768335/dsafds is the place where you can edit your chat profile

There's a lot of caching, so it takes a while for your chat profile to update. How long has it been?

yes ^ can take up to 30 minutes

it takes an hour sometimes

6 to 8 is the best guess.

it took like 2 hours for FireAlarm's rep to update once I got it to 20 rep

this is not the place to reach a moderator anyway

Well, I set it as "Detect Language Automatically" and it detected German, could not translate it though

I've seen this happen a few times when a chat account was created based on a main site account, the main site account was deleted for being a sock puppet, and then a new account was recreated using the same credentials as the previously deleted puppet. Looking at the history, I'm betting that's the case here, because you've had several accounts deleted. — Brad Larson ♦ 6 mins ago
