@AndrasDeak kinda, but definitely not another C++ lounge. Because right now there is only SOCVR, so to say for the SOCVR users. So if you want to talk in chat about a question or about programming or programming jokes, there is only this room. So by creating a second room you can make a clear definition that in one room there is everything about moderation and in the second one everything around it. So you have a second way and you can move stuff into the second room if it isn't about moderation.

@PetterFriberg I'm not sure about the idea, but I wanted to see what maybe others think about it. I will leave it in my head and see maybe what I comes out of the idea in a few days.

I'm pretty sure that I'm probably not going to be welcome here after this, even though I had nothing to do with this issue, and merely asked for clarification of a moderators comment. The bounty that I received from Jarrod was for an answer that I am proud of, and as far as I know, was deserving of the bounty it received.

pissing off the mods was obviously less than wise, and there will still be much controversy regarding the whole issue

What pisses me off to no end is someone attacking me, accusing the entire room of nefarious conspiracy and then claiming they did neither. @AndrasDeak just for the record, I specifically targeted the 3 most accepted and upvoted answers that pp_ had. The problem is, SO is a different place than it was when I joined over 6 years ago. It is next to impossible for someone new to answer anything substantial about java, python, c, c++, ruby, perl, bash or anything else that is ubiquitous. And anything the do answer is a duplicate and unlikely to garner more than 6 - 8 upvotes before it is poshed off the front page to oblivion.

It used to be 70% janitorial work, and 30% random chat, but over the past 1-2 months alot of new people joined the room, and it's not too strange that these days there is more chatter in between closing questions

I'm pulling numbers out of my behind of course, point is that I can't see from what happens here would give people any ammunition for the conspiracy theories that have been popping up in meta. If you hang out here, you see its a good thing.

That's my bit of praise, now I continue to lurk and try not to be part of my fictive 70% ;)
