Yeah... but there's also something that a negatively scored answer if it receives 3 x delete votes (not just recommended) will be deleted (as you'd expect)

It might even be that 5 x RD and 1xD is still enough to delete something negatively scored - I can't remember

I'm saying that it is tag dependent. If you know something about tag Y, and you don't know anything about tag X, but you can compare X and Y and find that they are comparable or X scores better, it is a way to know something about tag X, right?

Now, you could say: "dunno about that one, it isn't helpful for this discussion", or you could say, "Yeah, kill algorithm also", or you could say, "algorithm is better than the tag I'm suggesting for burnination". But a blanket, "No, don't say anything about another tag" seems to close off a valid way to reason about how bad a tag is.

We were discussing a specific tag, not every tag on the site that could possibly qualify for burnination.

@Tunaki - I'm wondering about the process of how to evaluate the criteria for a tag. None of them are really crystal clear. Comparative analysis is often a productive way to evaluate subjective criteria.
