It would be nice if questions only went into the reopen queue if the OP explicitly writes a reason as to why their change fixes the original close reason

There would be a bunch of junk answers to the prompt, but at least it'd be easier to grok

Yes, but for people who actually make an effort to improve the post, their reopen request will stand out

At least it shows the OP put in effort to fix their post, rather than reading a huge edit-dump which may or may not even be related to the closing

The whole point is that OP's regularly come back, don't read the close reason, edit a huge amount of junk into the post, and it get's put into the reopen queue. It's not about solving the problem of rubbish on SO, but improving it
