I'm assuming that's not what "abusive" in this reason is referring to You know what they say about assumptions... ...they say that they're often wrong. Like you are. In this case. If someone is abusing the site by posting gibberish, flag it as such. Any combination of 6 spam or offensive ...

@KevinGuan He says your proposal already exists. After a certain amount of deleted posts (he does not tell us how many are required), the user will be suspended for some time.

@Kevin However if all the deleted posts are on one single site, it's usually not so strict - and moderators will suspend or ban manually

@KevinGuan If the spammer is posting on stackoverflow.com, programmers.stackexchange.com, etc, then it is likely they will be automatically banned

@rene @TinyGiant I've updated the auto-editor with your requests, Rene. We had worked on noise reduction a while back, and set it aside when the RegExes were getting way too greedy. I've done some work on them tonight that seems to be doing the trick. It wipes out whole sentences of what it recognizes as fluff. There may still be false positives as well as ways to say "Tanks in advance" that we haven't considered yet, so let me know how it goes.

An answer being upvoted shows that it is useful, some mods will routinely decline NaA or VLQ flags on upvoted or accepted answers because the status signals that it was found useful by at least a few people, and more effort should be put into editing it into shape.

Ok, in here every moderation request you see is a request to review the moderation action being taken. That is not for you to jump on and blindly do as you're told. We are not a voting gang. We are all usually wrong at some point. If you don't want to review every request to the best of your ability then you are not actually helping our goal.

it was not a review, it was a suggested edit, which I took the time to edit to improve and approve. I checked the link was correct. In and of itself it was not a bad thing. Then the issue of resetting flags came up and I really do not think it warranted such a heavy come down on me, I do not vote with every request that comes in here.
