@easwee yep, I host the chatbot on my computer. At the moment, it will not read through previous lines in the chatroom. I can make that a feature request if needed, though my ultimate goal is to have it run on a computer that runs 24/7.

@AlexK I left a comment under Shog9 post announcing the triage queue here. I don't expect the limit to be raised but I won't start another thread about it. Let's first wait if triage and the cvq stay in their current form based on the evaluation of the current ongoing test with triage

@gnat I handled again 40 cv on C++ and c# / off-topic with looking for. See a few lines up my stats. If this needs to work we need to keep the time between when you finish and when I start reviewing as short as possible ... anyway, 40 more have an extra cv so those should rise in the CVQ....

@gunr2171 yeah, it is far from ideal but I can't come up with anything else, except one suggestion braiam had but that would still require one of us to find the review first and that woukd end up in review sharing which I don't want to do in principle

but remember that the current CVQ is still kept low artificially

It filters the questions that go in the queue and ages votes quicker

without those measures the queue would be above 150K

well, there are automatic checks before a question is posted. the triage is something new on top of that

our hope is that triage will catch things that normally go into the CV queue, and send less items our way

the real issue is the shear number of incoming posts per day (I think around 3-5k questions per day)

it's hard to handle all of those, no matter what step in the process you are in

@rene thanks! today, I looked back at CVs I cast 3-4 days ago and it was really great to see many of closes completed, and I looked into some questions and saw you folks covering these. That felt... great. Also, I didn't do any tags today - I also figured the risk of CV expiry if these pile up too much (as you pointed, "keep the time between when you finish and when I start reviewing as short as possible"). Instead...

...instead I run through The Queue (off-topic, no (!) tag filters - insane amount of skips) and cast my votes over prior ones, cast on "looking-for" stuff by others - with the same aim to prevent CV expiration and questions dropping off the queue. My plan for tomorrow is to run again through the queue to squeeze as much as what was cast before as I can, and if I have any votes left after that, proceed with remaining tags I listed (.net-php-javascript)

@gunr2171 that's for sure! my today run through the queue without tag filters has shown that it's possible (questions with title or text starting with "looking for" stand out pretty well) but still quite cumbersome, lots of stuff to skip. Additional filters by Java, C++ and C# tags could make it easier, though it wasn't an option to me since I cast first votes on these

given that suspended user was very active in closing and deletions, best we can do is to stronger push SE team to work on se-quality-project. I bet his frustration has a lot to do with waterfalls of garbage flooding the site. And I bet another suspended hi-rep user has been frustrated by this. Another hi-rep user left another SE site voluntarily but they wrote an explanation here that looks really appropriate. Following dupehammer spirit, it looks natural to give them 10-20 see details below extra close votes to bang in their tag. Note how this will also boost dupehammer holders power, allowing them to do their magic 10-20 more times a day. Another option worth considering is to allow for 10-20 extra ...

^^^ with a little luck, tag badge holders can get some extra closing power in their tags

@gnat I'm thinking perhaps 5 at the bronze level, so people can actually do stuff right away. Then perhaps 15 more at the silver level, which becomes even more useful when you hit gold and unlock the other ability. When folks hit the bronze level, the extra votes will almost always come on the heels of unlocking another privilege just through rep, so this could be a really good way of bringing out even more enthusiasm for that achievement as well.
