I think I need advice on a poor question I have stake in. It's really bad and rightfully closed, but it has a lot of views and my (noob time, forgive me) answer keeps getting upvoted.
May I ask if/how we can salvage it?

Q has positive score by now even, despite being quite poor. It appears to be de facto useful.

@BaummitAugen Asking what to do/what can be done is fine. An actual request (e.g. cv-pls) is what's not permitted. There's a grey area where the question phrasing could be an implicit request. Where that line is, isn't clear. Based on discussions after the last issue, we're going to be taking a more "wait and see" attitude than previously (i.e. monitor, as possible, if any such questions result in SOCVR effectively being a self-interested voting ring, or to provide advantage to the asker).

@Makyen Thanks. Actually, I'm not sure whether I should ask here or in the Lounge (where I'm far from a regular) to begin with. It would certainly not be a request for action though, as, without any major change to the Q, action would be incorrect.

It's a bad Q; if posted like this today, I'd cv+dv, but it seems to be consistently useful somehow..

Link to Q timeline; I'm quite unsure how to salvage that...

The most likely reason for this being useful is people writing std::vetor<T> v; v.size; instead of v.size(). I can make an MCVE for that, but I'm not sure if I should.

But it's also possible people got confused by some unsigned->signed conversion warning. I could make an MCVE for that too, but what to do actually? XD

@BaummitAugen Well, it doesn't seem that bad. There's only your answer, so we don't have to worry about invalidating a bunch of disparate answers. The question could be edited to include code to more clearly show what the OP is asking (i.e. the MCVE which you mentioned). If your answer covers both cases, or if you're willing to make your answer cover both cases, then you could add both.

I could include both MCVEs in the Q and tailor my answer to the edited Q no problem.

@BaummitAugen That looks good. About all I'd do is add colons to the text you're using in the question to introduce each code block, but that's a minor grammar thing. I'm not sure I'd bother doing an edit just for that. Both the question and answer look good, with the question dramatically improved.

I got 10k tools on Lit.SE - unfortunately, there aren't a lot of flagrantly bad questions there, so I rarely have a reason to vote to delete. I'm looking forward to getting them here, too.

@Machavity I love it... "must enjoy closing things." Does that imply 3K rep on at least one site (or, at a minimum, participation in a private beta)?

so I got a new watch face for my smartwatch that hooks up to Outlook on my phone. This is what it looks like. The dot is the current time (12 hour) and the lines are all the meetings today. Ugh.
