So I send an email with 4 questions numbered 1 to 4, and I get a reply that answers only 2 of the 4 questions. Here I was thinking "I made this easy for you: 1, 2, 3, 4. Four things to answer." but no.... :( Maybe if I typed my emails in all caps, or with lots of spaces between words, or typed slower...

You'll find hundreds of variations of that question...

It is a dupe. Of 2 questions combined. We have canonical for all of those ones. And then you have a lot of questions where you need to combine 2 or more canonicals... and that's where I end up crying because I cannot close as dupe (even with 2 dupes linked) without being yelled at.

@Adriaan This is not a question on python per se. it is a question about your shell. Which one do you use? Bash, sh, fish, ...? in bash you capture the last exit code with $?. How are you sending the captured variables?

I did not do it and have no real idea but it makes sense.
