I talked with Martijn Pieters and he said deleted answers do not count towards your tag score. Since the score is recalculated everyday(baring the script crashing) your tag score should go down if you delete a net positive answer.

What is your thought on this user's profile page? I mod flagged him last week because he made lots of edits on ancient posts, with the edit summary "please consider for flagging". Apparently a mod gave him an edit ban
