Quite frankly, many of the examples are overly sophisticated thus making the flow tougher to play with.

The system of Stack Overflow is very interesting
in many ways it parallels US demographics
people who got here early and worked hard or got lucky have massive, uncatchable amounts of reputation (money) and they tend to get more as time goes on because they have lots of reputation already (money). People who get here these days have a much harder time of getting rep (money). They can work hard and earn some, but it's a pretty uncommon thing to see someone joining in 2014/2015 who already has more than, say, 10k rep. Further, those with huge reps tend to bemoan newer system changes
changes that tend to make the system nicer/easier to use for new people
which is odd because I don't think I've ever even seen a question closed by bluet, but if he has cast ~100,000 close votes in his time then I would expect to see a lot more
