I'm trying to explain the misunderstanding you guys are engaging in; you closed the question in short time, and when I started to try to fix the misunderstanding, you started down-voting it collectively, which by all means is lynch-mobbing (5 downs in less than 2 minutes...you're fooling anyone but me)

Who says we all started downvoting collectively? You have no idea who could have downvoted. If you feel that something isn't right, flag a mod, otherwise move on.

Also a lynch mob does the lynching without any legal authority. Since there is no "legal" here, it can't apply. Perhaps you could call it a "collective effort". I wonder what the term for an irked group of SO users is...

@TheLima The real question is, what exactly do you want to achieve here? Your question was closed because 5 people thought it should be closed. You voted to reopen it and it's now in the "Reopen" queue. If 5 people agree to reopen it, it will be reopened. We have just followed the process here. If you don't agree with the close reason, make a meta post about it or flag a moderator but coming here to rant is not helpful

@TheLima If we are conspiring in this room to downvote your posts and close them, which again we are not, then it's pretty much the worst place in the world to come looking for help.

i didnt downvote or vote to close. i would have voted to close it before the edit was made (when it was just asking for a tutorial), but i wouldnt have voted to reopen it just because the tutorial request was removed from the question

I always assume yyyy-mm-dd unless in xx/xx/xxxx format

yyyy-* always implies correct descending order for me ...

They should just get rid of months to avoid this confusion
