@giuliolunati :-) Well if you feel like doing things, there's plenty to do, the build process is an area where I have been feeling like "less is more". I feel like Brett's PARSE-based prototype scanner is over-the-top for what we need, and far less code could simply make those prototypes from the C sources.

I bet one small clear file could do what we have too much doing today.

@giuliolunati The tab completion came up again, and that's really just a thing where someone has to define what tab "should do". The hook point is in, and my goal is that the behavior be shared on all platforms (including web). Not quite there, but close.

But Zynic overall is kind of a late 90s throwback kind of artist. e.g. Fear my love. I know you're not from that era, but to my tastes, it's nice to hear someone kind of get it.

I still listen a lot to your recommendations, e.g. the Algorithm.

It grated at first, esp. Octopus4, but then you see that the octopus has 4 legs, it's deep on a lot of levels.

@giuliolunati I agree on that. Should be way simpler. There is a large Visual Studio build part in there that is hard or impossible to extract out of it. The whole build thing should be more modular, Or there should be a cash-register-like GUI interface fed by settings for different target platforms that then can guide some fiddling to produce new build scripts.;-)
