@iArnold (RE: your email) if you are finding including "View" in the extensions is not working, it is likely related to the libraries linked with, supplied in the "make-spec" file: github.com/metaeducation/ren-c/blob/master/extensions/view/…
If you try commenting that out and re-making your makefile (or otherwise getting the whole build configuration re-done, as you would if adding or removing an extension) and it runs, then the problem is coming from trying to link one or more of those libraries at all.
Thnz for looking into that. Well I think I did not include any library other than the standard ones other extensions use, so there should not be any unresolved problems possible. it is in effect now an extension consisting of a dummy function that should return a value True. That is what is puzzling me now.
