That being said, Stack Overflow is not the right place to come when you have an "urgent" problem. You should go to your teacher, coworkers/boss, etc. when you have an urgent problem.
questions can take days, weeks, months, or even years to get an answer on SO, and that's OK
dropped my car off at the dealership for service first thing Friday morning, was told it would be "several hours"
nothing from them the rest of the day or all weekend
I call them and get punted around today for 20 minutes before I find out the technicians just started working on it today and I'll get a call back "later" with an update on when they expect it to be done
