in html <canvas id = {{UID}} width = "1000" height = "1000"></canvas>
var ctx = document.getElementBYId($scope.UID).getContext('2d'); when in js i called canvas using canvas id it is giving me error that unable to read property of undefined getContext('2d') of null reference. i want 'var ctx' as public and it should be used in all other functions which is in js but when i defined it outside function it is giving me above error

@Millie it sounds like you need more info for someone to help, but even so this is probably the wrong room for that. There is a JavaScript specific room that has people who could help better.

I'm having troubles getting an object inside of a container to resize to fill the container. I feel like thats a pretty basic thing to do, but I can't seem to find what I am looking for from googling. Are there any good online resources about getting objects to arrange nicely?
