and what is coming back from the profiler calls ?

perhaps the html is being rendered behind your page due to z-index

How do I check? The generated html looks like it is working:

well that really smells like z-index ...

try finding the element and bumping it up in firebug

can you find <div class="profiler-results"> in your html after it runs

bump that up to z-index 1000

what does this return: $(".profiler-results") (run in console)

Unless it is in the DOM only and not in the html tab

Aha I see the >>> in console now

I'm just changing the page's jquery to see if there is a <div class="profiler-results"> or not

changing the zindex in my styles.css now

hah well cant seem to make it show up

try .profiler-result and .profiler-results

it is a class not an id ... just confirmed this is working on mvc2

yeah its a class, have a big red box in the corner now, but it is empty. alert(box.html()); says null

sorry I misunderstood the output .. var box = $("#profiler-results")

returns [] with length of 0.. so it did not find anything

Aha .. got the little box thing :)

Wow , 2 seconds for a page on local host that has just two words

OK I will add all the css and js from the site master into this blank page one by one until I find a problem
