In my Xib,Am having three Views.’firstView’ starts from 0 to 450,’secondView’ starts from 0 to 300 and ‘thirsView’ starts from 300 to 600. if i first button it should show ‘firstView’ for that am hiding secondView and thirdView. if i click second button means it should show second and thirdView for that am hiding firstView.

My problem is, while clicking first it shows firstView from 0 to 450 and empty space from 450 to 600.How to do this??if i second button means it should start from 450..

Just a minor doubt,

In the below Fragment method,
public View onCreateView (LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState)

1. When we inflate the fragment layout we aren't supposed to add the fragment to the view. Why is that so ?
2. Is the ViewGroup the top level layout in the activity_main.xml ?

My Efforts
I went through the link below understood fragments but had this doubt in this method
