i have a dataframe df1 with ~60 dates in 570,000 columns.
for each date, i need to add columns x,y,z from another dataframe df2 which only has unique date and x,y,z

i'm using a while x<= rnow(df1)
if(date == date) then fill
else date = date +1
and repeat until nrow is finished. but it takes forever.

what's a faster way to do this?
