Yup, using CodeBuildStep. I found the issue. It was because I did not run the npm ci command. Which did not install the proposer dependencies. I am not used to NodeJS coming from Python so rookie mistake I guess.

Now it's 'working' at least from the Source step to the UpdatePipeline step. Now I have to find a way to upload the artifacts from the build step i.e. the code for the Lambda function to amazon ECR for example to be able to then use that for Lambda in the CDK stack
