@Machavity I 100% agree with you. Honestly I don't expect to win but hoped that the experience of running would highlight things that I can improve. You and TylerH gave very detailed feedback and I really appreciate it.
@VLAZ Yes, there is no longer a limit on your ranking. Although for all practical purposes your last two ranks don't matter so it's effectively "top 4" in terms of having any impact. SO don't stress too much over the order of #5 and #6.
@Jean-FrançoisFabre If you get to your 4th ranked choice and they are eliminated, that means your top 4 got eliminated and the remaining 2 will be elected.
@Scratte Here's the thing.... I know I need to do more/show more but there is so much to do and so many things people find of value. I tried to do All The Things last year in the late summer/early fall and overdid it. So I hope to reengage now at a sustainable level that will answer concerns about whether I can commit the time... as well as any concerns about if I've learned enough or interacted enough, etc.
@DanielWiddis Yes, I see how not doing 250 reviews a day slows you don't compared to some. But maybe some users will prefer people skills over that. There are conflicts happening all the time on the site.
Technically, there's no reason that you couldn't show the current STV result. But that would also encourage vote gaming and reduce the secrecy of the secret ballot, since you can also tell when someone voted. So it wouldn't be a great idea.
... I must say that once the lulz have passe, the fact that @StephenRaunch didn't answer any parts of the questionnaire, could dodge any and all scrutation in the comments and is now simply there to vote makes me quite uncomfortable
On the upside, I saw what a day at a polling place is like. On the downside, I saw what a day at a polling place is like. Overall that averages to neutral.
Personally I think that not answering the questionnaire shows how much you despise the ones who did. But it may be only me. And there's stilll time to edit & answer it.
@Joe Imagine if it was a governmental election, would you want to work it out for yourself? Or have some biased person on the internet tell you who to vote for? :p
@RyanM Yes. I think Stack is generally odd with a lot of stuff. Where you have to be a power user in order to know where to get information. And.. in this case it would be easy to just let them sit on both places.
@Scratte That is a question that they ask. Instead, we should focus on the economy and rebuilding the better future. If the question is am I a patriot, I can definitely answer it with 87.20% certainty.

@Machavity I did, however unsmart that can be. It pisses me off. This is obvious gaming, and seeing as to how it seems to gain votes from bystanders with very little expreience in the elections, I feel my anger to be somewhat based.
@FélixAdriyelGagnon-Grenier I wouldn't characterize the move as good for his campaign (and you're not alone in being irked by it being done that way), but voting is the way to express displeasure there
@Ethan It's a bit technical, but the risk in not voting would be that you fall into what's called the "exhausted" pool, meaning no vote of yours counted
