@JonasGeiregat I don't know for sure to be honest. I haven't had to deal with Room/LiveData. I wouldn't use LiveData directly from Room either. I'd have a repository that has suspending function and my ViewModel would launch that coroutine in its scope to fetch the data. I think Room supporting LiveData is not a great idea because LiveData is just a value holder mostly meant to be used by ViewModels to retain UI state between activity states...

So if your ViewModel requests the data via the coroutine every time it's needed, then the UI subscribed to your ViewModel will get the new data. I think you're mixing responsibilities. ALl that being said, I hear what you're saying and i think/hope it works like that (no matter where the update happened, the LiveData is triggered). Have you tried this?

Hello! I have problem using Python on android. I am using pydroid to run python programs on android but, the problem is that the GUI gets distorted - Some widgets become small while others large. The GUI is written on tkinter.

I didn't even know that Python on Android was a thing, so I'd guess I cannot help you, sorry.
